Alot of people take the view  “what they don’t know won’t hurt them”, but is that really so? What about if he had gone out and bought a lotto ticket or something minor, that really wouldn’t have been anything to squabble about. But he thought that he could cat around with another woman and I wouldn’t find out about it. He surely must have felt as though he would never get caught.  Oh, but he did, and I am here to tell you, it hurt so much that I thought I would never stop crying.  I had swollen eyes for a very long time. What was he thinking when he decided all of this anyways?  Did he think that he could go on living his secret forever and I would never be the wiser? All it took was for him to get too comfortable with how things were going and he became sloppier at keeping things hidden. He probably got so caught up in his own lies that he started to believe them himself. Honestly, I may possibly never get the answers to what he was thinking or why. What  a shame!
